- Position: Dispatcher
Job Description:
The Dispatcher is responsible for the overall operation of the department. This position will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for hiring, scheduling, and scheduling employees
- Responsible for providing accurate and timely information to all departments and or management
- Responsible for resolving issues and concerns in a timely manner
- Responsible for providing accurate and timely reports to management as needed
- Maintain departmental records including but not limited to payroll, time cards, W-9’s, etc.
- Assist with staffing needs and performance reviews as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA safety protocols and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role. Transportation management experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
