  • Position: Dispatcher

Job Description:

The Dispatcher is responsible for the overall operation of the department. This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for hiring, scheduling, and scheduling employees
  • Responsible for providing accurate and timely information to all departments and or management
  • Responsible for resolving issues and concerns in a timely manner
  • Responsible for providing accurate and timely reports to management as needed
  • Maintain departmental records including but not limited to payroll, time cards, W-9’s, etc.
  • Assist with staffing needs and performance reviews as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role. Transportation management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
