The County of Riverside’s University Health System (RUHS) Medical Center seeks multiple Per Diem Nursing Assistants/Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to support the Nurse Float Pool ( Night Shift). The incumbents will float to different acute care units within the medical center to provide support where needed. This recruitment may be used to fill other Nursing Assistant Per Diem openings throughout RUHS-Medical Center as they become available.
Under supervision, assists professional nursing personnel or other professional healthcare providers in providing basic patient care and treatment in a per diem employment capacity; performs nonprofessional nursing duties in the care of physically and mentally ill patients; and performs other related duties as required.
The Nursing Assistant is an entry level classification and typically reports to appropriate supervisory or management level nursing staff. Incumbents may be assigned to any outpatient clinic or inpatient nursing unit across the Riverside University Health System (RUHS).
Work Shift Requirement: The Nurse Float Pool requires two (2) shifts per week, including four (4) weekend shifts, for a total of eight (8) shifts in a scheduling period (4 weeks).
A current BLS issued by the American Heart Association must be uploaded to profile at time of application to be considered.
