Job Description:
Oversee and expedite DER interconnection application submissions, reviewing 700-900+ application reviews per month. This role requires understanding of DER application lifecycle including reviewing electrical one-line diagrams to ensure they meet requirements as well as strong customer service and communication skills.
Job Duties
* Self-starter doing mostly independent work.
* Complete accurate, compliance and complete information to customers and internal departments by using the standards, tools and approved methods.
* Regularly communicate technical information in straight forward and helpful manner with customers, solar installers and developers via email and phone.
* Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents appropriately
* Review interconnection electrical diagram to meet PPL Electric's standards.
Position Requirements (Required Skills)
* Independence in working style, processing/reviewing 700-900+ DER Interconnections work orders monthly.
* Highly proficient in managing multi-disciplinary, independent work and technical comprehension and communication.
* Very strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate ability to provide technical customer service via remote meeting, and email.
* Proficient in managing technical information, facilitating communication internally between departments and externally with customers.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
* Experience with Distributed Energy Resources (DER) application, BESS, solar PV inverters, and/or IEEE 1547/UL 1741
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.44 - $27.76 per hour
